Also, a key question could be when it was. Was it just after she 'died' on New Caprica and she's been chasing after the Fleet for 18 months? Or maybe it took 18 months for her resurrection signal to reach wherever it is that she is reincarnated.

I was looking at the shot of the Raptor (presumably carrying Ellen back home) flying along and couldn't make out if it was leaving a baseship or The Fleet or some other craft.

Anyone else loving the irony of Starbuck doing her whole, "I have a destiny, woe is me!" routine for so long and treating Anders like crap, only for it to turn out that he is one of the Final Five and therefore a pretty big deal himself? She almost seems put out by it.; February 07, 2009 9:29 AM

Adam Whitehead said...: The shot of the basestar and resurrection ship is stock footage from Season 3. The shot of Ellen and the flame is apparently a shot from the Season 3 opener. There's also lots of other old shots in there, like the Temple on the algae planet. So those shots could be misdirection.; February 08, 2009 6:16 PM

@ discussion of probable misdirection in the preview: Notice how the SciFi clip cuts to a Centurion right after a shot of Ellen in the tank? I've been assuming the Centurion is right there with her, which would probably place the tank on a Cavil basestar. But if it's a editing fake -- and that Centurion shows up in a different scene entirely -- she might be somewhere else entirely. I'm just sayin'.; February 10, 2009 7:24 AM
