I watched The Oath again yesterday - I am still astounded at the great tight writing and really smart direction - with very little ( in terms of special effects, long exposition etc) so much was conveyed. I watched Lost the other night - I enjoy it , but BSG is so much more compelling - and yet Lost keeps getting all the public TV SF love. This annoys me greatly. Does anyone really care about any of those characters? I've watched that show from the beginning ( and hasn't it been on like 60 years already?) and I don't give a damn about any of them (except maybe Hugo - Hugo rocks) whereas I actually worry about Starbuck and Tigh and the rest and have to remind myself that they're ...uh... fictional. Twelve more hours....

This misses the whole emotion of the episode. But I guess this if for the casual viewer??
