Yeah this was great... lots of good stuff. RM even quoted David Cronenberg, which you rarely see amongst TV folk. ;)

But darnit, no one asked them about the Sartre reference.

I'm dying to find out what Starbuck is. My friend thinks she's a Cylon. I disagree and we fought bitterly!

Can I plug my "How to Watch the Last Episodes od BSG" video?

yes, like viewing a modern art exhibit where you need to read a paragraph of text to understand what you're looking at, No Exit required lots of supplemental explanation - good writing, not!

Welcome back, ProgGrrl (are you back or are you just ducking into some tropical internet cafe or some such?). Logan's been taking good care of us but we've missed you.

Jane espenson - lamest writer on the show

I love Jane -- she's been great about engaging with fans and I quite like her work on BSG. But regardless, I can't quite believe she'd give away the farm on such a central mystery in the show. I suspect that either she's being cryptic in ways we can't yet appreciate because of upcoming plot developments, or it's an outright red herring. I suppose it's also possible that the RDM and the writers simply don't take this question nearly as seriously as many of the fans; that would be a little disappointing but wouldn't necessarily ruin the show for me. You can find extended discussion of Jane's Kobol response on Brad Templeton's BSG sub-blog (among other places) but for me it boils down to trusting the writers and RDM to deliver a satisfying and credible ending. No show is perfect, but they've earned the benefit of the doubt in my book.

Boy, it's always just Kiss Or Kill around here, isn't it.

Yes Eric, I'm still in Hawaii... Twittering away from the beach. ;)
