Rumor control

Battlestar blog posted some major rumor-squelchers today:

Katee Sackhoff has been announced, at last, as coming to Dragon Con this August. By the way, BSG science advisor Dr. Kevin Grazier was also recently added to an impressively long list of BSG attendees.

At Friday's NBC Universal Summer Press Day, Mark Stern from The Sci Fi Channel made a first official announcement about the airing of the second half of Season 4 (aka "the back ten"):

"Battlestar Galactica's" final season will be split into two parts, the first of which wraps up on Friday, June 13 at 10:00/9:00c. The 10 remaining episodes will then roll out sometime during the 2008-09 season.

2008-09 season...that starts this fall, and keeps going through next spring. So we'll see.
