Come alive in the moment

Mo Ryan has posted the full interview she did this month with Ron Moore. Being a consummate profangirl herself, Mo has kindly split up the interview into sections based on the level of spoilers. Pretty darned nice of ya Mo.

It's great to hear more from Moore about his first directing gig, and it is welcomed news that there may be additional bookings for well-known directors to help with the back ten. You can bet that this fangirl is immensely bummed Joss Whedon probably will not be involved - but hey, he's a busy boy right now. Also enlightening was hearing that RDM sometimes has to "pull back" his crackerjack special effects team because they deliver work that is too gorgeous and painterly for the show's gritty aesthetic.

Meanwhile, a few comments on stuff Logan posted yesterday:

I would be careful about those Caprica prequel details, and the promise of a regular Scott Ian BSG blog yesterday (although PopCandy seems sure). It was April Fools Day, afterall...

Nice to see the SciFi.com BATTLESTAR GALACTICA official site has relaunched for the new season. There’s a ton of new photography, an interactive version of the Last Supper photo to explore, new posters and wallpapers, and updated character/castmember biographies. Pretty snazzy. Of utmost importance here in my book, is the additionally emphasized WATCH FULL EPISODES banners on the home page.

Let’s hope that, in addition to the 12pm EST stream of “He That Believeth In Me” on Friday, we will find season 4 episodes posted to SciFi.com after the first broadcast. It would be even more fun if we find them on Hulu - since fandom could then embed clips or whole eps into our own websites/blogs. Fun. *crossing fingers*

Today MAD MEN (which I adore almost as much as Logan does) has joined BSG on the list of Peabody Award-winning television series, in the company of some of my other favorite shows including THE COLBERT REPORT, 30 ROCK, PLANET EARTH, and ART: 21.

I'm really not trying to be an ass because I honestly enjoy this blog, but I'm wondering if the titles of the more recent entries are coming from somewhere. I read via RSS and the titles are kind of what draws me in but of late they're making no sense to what's actually being blogged about. Or maybe I'm just missing something?? (quite possible)

Yeah, those titles are quotes from something in the piece...In this case, something RDM says in his inty about the new adventure he is having directing BSG this month.

I suppose it does seem odd via RSS. But don't you just come and read every single post by habit? ;)

Can't wait for the new season of BSG. It's nice that they're posting eps online, I don't have cable so I won't be able to watch it on TV. So excited.

Would anyone know if they plan on releasing Seson 4 eps on Amazon Unbox the day after airing like their deal with Itunes last season?
I don't have cable and am excited about Unbox...it looks much better than Itunes did.
