Touching spoilers for 4.5 and the Series Finale

As many of you have already figured out, there is an extremely spoilery cast/crew wrap video now floating around the interwebs. It was apparently created for the eyes only of the BSG cast and crew, and as a tribute to (or appreciation for) director/producer Michael Rymer. The video features a bunch of still photos and video snippets shot while season 4.5 was being filmed, including during the finale, and on the final day of shooting. It's filled with the most adorably sweet behind-the-scenes candid shots of the cast and crew -- as well as a ton of spoilers, mainly reveals of sets and props for season 4.5 that I certainly didn't want to see.

Logan thought the whole thing was very touching.

I peeked at a few parts, against my better spirginal judgement. I regret it. I give this video an 8 out of 10 on the Sitrep Spoiler Scale.

A very kind fan known as wisteria was nice enough to grab a bunch of frame caps from this video and post two galleries: spoilery, and non-spoilery. Maybe this will satisfy you...cuz you're gonna have a really, really hard time not watching this until next spring. ETA: at the request of TPTB this link is now friends-only. Sorry charlie. However, you can still find some of the footage "out there" if you look.

The YouTube links are dead.

So I checked out the images instead.

The images aren't "spoilery". Unless you find our heroes in flack vests absolutely stunning.

Perhaps we see some interesting people on-set. But it's not clear in what manner...casual or story-related?

The images are mostly the cast in light-hearted poses. Nice to see, and kind of sad.

I will not get into it here, but all I can say is for the attentive viewer, there are some MASSIVE set spoilers for 4.5 in that video.

I do not know if wisteria capped the shots that I found super-spoilery for her gallery.

Proggrrl we'll be strong together. I've unfortunately seen/read a few spoilers from it. However, I have it tucked away ready to watch seconds after the end of the last episode airs, as I'm sure I'll already be crying and sentimental and the tribute will only make me more so.

Hah, thanks mamaboolj. We were pretty torn about even sharing this link on Sitrep frankly.

Based on what's going on today, we may be asked to remove it. We shall see.

But for spirginal fans like you and I, the problem now is that "it's out there." The images have been seen, they'll be discussed and picked apart and speculated on. FOR MONTHS.

Be careful out there spirgins!

Is there a way to see these photos if one does not have a Livejournal account?

You know, its probably just a sign that i should not see these photos.. ha ha

Naturally, I highly recommend you don't...but I think io9 still has stuff accessible to the public. Unless SciFi/NBCU browbeats them into taking it down. :P

I caved and clicked to take a look. Thankfully I can't access the album so I remain spoiler free.

I couldn't help it. I caved, downloaded it and watched. I might rate it slightly lower on the spoiler scale, but only down to a 6 or 7 out of 10. But still, if I had any willpoer whatsoever, I would have saved it for the end like amaboolj. It was definitely a tear-jerker (but, not because of the spoiers).

I had those links posted over at my blog the other day. Guess I'll go edit.

I have posted this video on my site. Honestly I didnt even notice that many spoilers and didnt even put a spoiler tag until one of my Staff members told me there were some decent spoilers. I'd rate the spoilers 2 out of 5 on my meter. But then, maybe I did not watch with a critical enough eye, I was just taken from all the loving the cast and crew were giving each other. That's what I was focused on, not the S4.5 stuff.

I think it is a video worth watching, but that's just me.

Personally, I'm a spoiler junkie. I absolutely NEED BStarG material to tide me over until January, and this came as a needed reprieve. Thanks for the tip.

While I understand the reasoning behind wishing to lock oneself in a vacuum-sealed box until new episodes air officially, I find that even though I know what is about to occur, I am still emotionally wowed by it. However, that's just me.

Thanks again!

personally, I think they are not huge spoilers... because we don´t know what mean the most of them.

ProgGrrl, you're awesome! Thanks for posting this (and for making it abundantly clear that we might discover something we regret).

If anything, the biggest "spoiler" is that there seem to be lots of flashbacks, presumably to explain the bigger picture.
