Spirgins beware!

Battlestar Galactica writer and producer Mark Verheiden posted some news about the new season today on his blog:

...I suspect the whole BATTLESTAR GALACTICA loving world knows this already, but the official Sci-Fi channel premiere date for the post-RAZOR season four is now FRIDAY, APRIL 4. Early review copies of the first two eps have gone out (I know because a friend got one) so plot details may start creeping out across the internet soon. Just to reiterate for concerned fans, the first eleven episodes of season four were shot and wrapped before the strike, and I believe the plan was always to break this part of season four into two ten episodes chunks, so... you'll get the full measure of BSG once the show begins to run.

OK fellow spirgins* out there: you know the drill...advance screeners are out, spoilers will now become rampant. Watch yourselves - especially on the skiffy forums and TWoP!

As for the rest of fandom: KNOCK YERSELVES OUT.

* SPIRGIN = spoiler virgin. The few, the proud.

If the first two eps have been release to reviewers, it's a forgone conclusion they'll be leaked to the net very soon, so spoilers won't matter because everyone will be downloading them anyway. :)

IDK about that...screeners of CROSSROADS 1 & 2 were out way in advance - did anyone snag those off the torrents? I hadn't heard that last spring.

Anyway, I'm waiting for the gorgeous, full res, final mix and final FX on April 4. Call me crazy!

Spoilers... what spoilers? Where?

Re: last season, I know there are many copies (ha ha) but I don't recall hearing about where to find them. I read the details from people who got hold of a review copy.

I guess I was just reminded by the first three episodes of Jericho's second season (keeping in mind there are only 7 eps in total) being leaked as "preairs" onto torrent sites early last month. It happens.

Guess I'll have to check up on Patriot Resource again. The more info, the merrier.
