The new Star Trek teaser trailer looks pretty good. I'm looking forward to seeing if in relaunching Trek if J.J. Abrams goes as far as Ron Moore did in re-imagining Battlestar Galactica.
Interestingly, a few years ago J. Michael Straczynski (Babylon 5) and Bryce Zabel (Dark Skies) proposed a Star Trek reboot series to Paramount that sounds like it could have been a radical departure from previous incarnations of Trek.
Personally I'm not concerned about continuity. I just want to see a good movie.
