io9, part of the Gawker empire...

I was having some fun mining back posts over at Gawker’s newest establishment, the SciFi blog io9. They have a few recent Battlestar Galactica related posts, including this very impressive car mod:


Here they have an interview with BSG comic book writer Greg Pak, and here is mention of the limited edition Cylon Raider filming miniature replica that Quantum Mechanix is releasing later this year.

But my personal favorite of their posts includes BSG in a list of the best sex scenes in sci-fi (this is a Gawker blog, afterall). I certainly agree, sci-fi doesn't get much hotter than BSG – though this list is missing LOGAN’S RUN, FARSCAPE, and THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH. So it’s hard to take it completely seriously.
