Mac-using BSG fans - frakked?

YahooTech noticed that all BATTLESTAR GALACTICA episodes have been removed from iTunes as part of the collapse of NBC/Universal's deal with Apple.

While PC-computer users can now go to Amazon Unbox to buy Season 3 eps, we lowly Mac users currently have no way to legally purchase digital copies of last season's episodes.

Sigh.

It's inconvenient, but I don't feel too bad about no longer being able to enrich the studios at the expense of the writers.

I suppose that's true. *goes off to watch silly strike vids again*

well anonymous, i'd hope that by the time there are new episodes to download the writers and actors will be getting some residuals. But i agree for the moment at least

Just means more people will turn to torrents!

I'm glad Amazon Unbox doesn't support us Mac users. Unbox has the worst DRM crap in the history of bad DRM.

NBC/U is really dumb to say good bye to tens of millions of iPod/iTunes users/buyers. It will drive people to the torrents.

Steve Jobs told NBC they would sell more shows if they lowered prices. But NBC/U actually wanted to raise prices.

The writers are not the only ones getting screwed by these big media companies, they are after the consumers too. Don't they know that the customer is always right?
