The 3000?

Well, what does EW.com know that we don't?

3000 of you are going to picket with the BSG writers this Friday?

Totally, totally awesome dudes. Where is he getting that info?

(Also, Mark Stern, I hope you are right!)

I'm torn. On the one hand I'd love the series to air uninterrupted. On the other hand for the sake of the writers, actors, producers, etc. I'd like to see a quick resolution to the strike.

And congrats on the mention in EW! :)

What?? Wait a minute...

If there is a 3000 fan string picket, I somehow missed that. I am attending the Burbank con and will hopefully be going out to the protest on Friday. I know some fans are trying to throw something together. I suspect the 3,000 number is the estimate of attendance at the con. That would make more sense.

@shayna...Hmm. Interesting. Well Creation is doing ZERO to promote the picket on their site.

HEY! VERHEIDEN! ESPENSON! (SACKHOFF!) Plz call Creation and tell them to update their web site. kthx. *g*

@asta...Yeah, I hear you. But I do not understand Stern's position - if the strike happens, and the back 10 aren't written/shot/cut, how is the strike helping us see all 20 eps sooner? *iz confuzed*

LOL, I am certain there is ZERO chance of Creation promoting the picket. As they have a contract with Sci-Fi/NBCU to host the official conventions... and Sci-Fi is who were are protesting...

Maybe Stern is saying once the strike is over SFC won't have much other content to run? He also made the comment before the strike started and we knew when BSG would shut down production. I'm not sure. I don't speak 'studio exec'.

I was under the impression that Ron Moore said they hadn't written anything past 4.10. Am I hallucinating?

"As for how Battlestar Galactica is being affected, Moore said "We have an episode [filming] on the stage right now that will be the last episode. We don't have a script beyond that, so this will be it."- IGN

This is actually worrying me a lot. What if the scripts are only partially finished or just first drafts and the Sci-Fi channel pushes forward with them anyway just to finish the show? Then we wouldn't get the polished series finale we want as the writers wouldn't get to make another pass...

Okay, I think I can clear this up a bit.

At this point scripts have been written for 13 episodes out of 22. That 13 includes Razor which production wise was 4x01 and 4x02.

They just finished shooting episode 12 and shut down production as Ron Moore has gone hands off and will not do any show runner duties.

Episode 12 is the mid season cliff hanger (due to Razor being the first two eps, it is episode 10)
