Mark Sheppard in the DOLLHOUSE?

Kevin Beaumont over at Dollverse has posted that Mark Sheppard will be appearing on at least one episode of Joss Whedon's DOLLHOUSE for Fox.

When questioned here in this Whedonesque thread, Beaumont (aka gossi) says he got the info directly from Sheppard himself.

Shiny!

(Makes one wonder if Mr. Whedon will make good on his TCA threat to pilfer even more BSG castmembers...now that they're available...)

Probably more that he's Badger than that he's Romo, though.

Yup...he was a Firefly alum before he was a BSG alum. Maybe JW will pilfer a few more for his show anyway though... ;)

For what it's worth, he'll be appearing in several episodes of The Middleman -- I think starting next week, but I can't remember.

I generally like him, but he's become too much of a Hey! It's That Guy for my tastes. He tends to play similar roles in a variety of sci-fi shows, and while he's good, seeing him damn near everywhere has become too much of a distraction for me to buy into his roles.

i gotta say, I don't understand what the big deal about him or "romo pumpkin" or whatever his name was on BSG makes him such a big deal.

It's like what happened to Boba Fett. He has virutally no lines but a cool costume and suddenly he's the "cool character" with no character or development at all.

Likewise, that bullshit with him and his stupid cat and that drawn out nonsense was just sillly. He was great as Baltar's defense lawyer, and all, but I still don't see why suddenly he became a fan meme. Whatever.

Then again I bought into the manga avatar meme so perhaps I should just shut the frak up.

Mark has confirmed his "Dollhouse" appearance on the Sci-Fi channel BSG message board, stating that he starts work on it on Monday. He also mentioned that he was going to appear in "Leverage" on TNT. Mark's two episodes of "The Middleman" air August 25th and September 1st on ABC Family. In "The Middleman" he is playing the character that is likeness was used for in the "Middleman" comics. Yeah, can you tell I am one of his biggest fans?

@greg: Yeah basically, anyone who fell for that frakkin' dumb manga avatar meme needs to step off for at least another 48 hours. ;)

Also, some of us enjoyed the cat/head cat thing.
