Journeyman

Journeyman is a pretty good (not great, but really good) show. It's too bad nobody watched it. Plus, one of the co-stars Moon Bloodgood is a Battlestar Galactica fan.

NBC will broadcast what would appear to be the last episode, Wednesday night.

I was just starting to watch the show too.

Honestly, how do networks do this? They air a show for a couple months and before anyone even starts to hear about it, they cancel it.

It's a great show! :)

Been writing about it all season, we have a big following over at my blog.

I hope NBC executives rot in the fiery pits of hell for canceling this show. I hope their children are stolen in the night and castrated with a spork in an aquarium of leeches, and then salt is poured on their wounds. Without my weekly fix of Kevin McKidd, I won't smile anymore.

yeah, it is an awesome show, and I'm gonna miss it. Maybe the fans will save it, and maybe the Sc-Fi channel could pick it up if NBC won't. Of course nothing will happen on that front while the strike continues.

Kevin McKidd is one of the best actors on TV these days. I started watching the show because I loved Rome. (I was also a Quantum Leap fan, and Journeyman has many QL aspects.)

I think the suits who make these decisions don't actually watch the shows on their networks. They just read the Neilson numbers and demographic data.

Most of the best shows are on cable like HBO, or Mad Men on AMC, and BSG on Sci-fi, so if Journeyman had been on cable, it might have gotten a fair shot. Plus, the networks stifle creativity. (Bionic Woman is a perfect example of that.) There's more room for freedom on cable.

i liked this show mostly because they filmed some of it here in town....it was a bit slow to get started and had a great story arc building but they dumbed it down a little and laid a little too heavy on the angsty oprah-esque babble....on scifi or USA it might have done better...it's certainly better than that mess called The 4400 and that's still on the air....

nbc seems to be inventing new ways to screw itself over and go to war with the customer...screw 'em....they cancled BSG for godsssakes....
