BSG won an Emmy tonight for Outstanding Special Visual Effects For A Series, for EXODUS PART 2.
The Primetime Emmys air on September 16th. BSG is nominated for Writing (OCCUPATION/PRECIPICE, Ron Moore) and Directing (EXODUS PART 2, Felix Alcala).
(Oh and also, "Dick In A Box" won the Best Music and Lyrics Emmy. LOL.)

It's about time. :)
I remember Ron's commentary podcast for Exodus part 2 when he said that he would be very upset if they didn't win an Emmy this time. And it would have been a scandal if they hadn't.
I agree, this scene had me jump out of my chair. I've rewatched it I don't know how many times.
Then again, Heroes is up for best drama and not BSG, so the Emmy judges probably don't actually watch what they are voting for...
