We all know SciFi are dicks and put massive spoilers in their promos, but this? I think (hope) this is more a red herring and D'anna's just being sarcastic/joking.
Surely SciFi wouldn't be so retarded as to put perhaps the biggest plot point ever inside a friggin promo, would they?
I was floored when I saw this right after the episode aired. I too cannot believe they would give away the answer to THE question of the season in a promo! I literally screamed, I was so shocked. Now the wait is going to seem endless.
It seems almost certain that it us edited to make us think Laura is a cylon but it could be her reaction to learning someone else is a cylon rather than her being told she is one.
I wasn't going to watch this, but after seeing the "Fakeout" comments I decided it would be ok (I have been waiting soooo long for D'Anna to come back!)
It better damn well be a red herring, a trick of editing! But then the promo for Crossroads Pt II had Chief with the line "we're all Cylons".
Well, I hope she is talking about Anders...because while I agree that SciFi might not give that away in a promo, it still narrows it down to the humans on that ship:
Helo, Baltar and Roslin.
I'd rather not have known...and maybe it will just be Deanna thinking Anders doesn't know.
I think she's talking to Roslin, but Moore has confirmed that no one shown in The Last Supper picture is a Cylon, so she's lying. Of course they wouldn't put the identity of the last Cylon in a promo, chill.
I agree, it's probably just Anders she is talking to. It's also possible she's just lying to Roslin, but somehow I doubt that.
I like Progrrl's idea that maybe the revealing of the final Cylon is chump change compared to some new story arc coming down the line. But I'm not hopeful on that.
I'd just like to point out that this promo contains what is possibly a MASSIVE spoiler and you might want to warn people.
ReplyDeleteI really wish SciFi hadn't done this...I saw it right after the episode during my live viewing and...ugh.
No, nononono...

I'm certainly hoping you are right...while I don't mind the choice of who it is, I wish I could have seen it happen live, on my own.
ReplyDeleteThis is obviously a fakeout.
ReplyDeleteI didn't put a spoiler warning, since it is obviously a fake-out. Should I put up a foiler warning?

ReplyDeleteEr, did anyone else think Sine Qua Non was kind of a weak episode?
ReplyDeleteI think it is a tee-it-up episode for big things in The Hub.

ReplyDeleteI don't even think that is her reacting to what D'Anna says...I would bet money that it's just editing.

Oh c'mon guys, there is no way they are spoiling that kind of information in some darned promo spot.
ReplyDeleteUnless...
Unless...the final cylon reveal turns out to be a small fry bit of information compared to something else coming down the path.
o_O
I would bet D'anna is talking to Anders.
ReplyDeleteWho is in fact one of the Final Five. That would make the most sense IMO.
