BSG fans who also watch GREY'S ANATOMY got a special treat this week on ep #514, "Beat Your Heart Out," with the reappearance of Mary McDonnell as Dr. Dixon. Definitely worth a watch if you're a Mary fan.
Thanks for posting about this. I don't watch Grey's Anatomy (except for Mary's episodes) and I don't know when she's be on until I hear about it from someone.
I'm a fan of the show, and will defend it any day of the week (mainly by forcing people to read this review)... but that said, yes, several other guys I know who seem to be watching Grey's under threat of murder by someone else in the house, have said that they actually enjoyed it this week. ;-)
I do not watch Grey's Anatomy but I just HAPPENED to turn the channel and see MARY and then I watched til the end, since I do NOT follow the show I am uncertain what the deal is with her character's problems, but just seeing those few minutes reminded me A LOT of Sigorney Weaver's portrayal of a functioning autistic woman in the film "Snow Cake" (with Alan Rickman.)
