Union

BSG fan Joss Whedon was on United Hollywood's podcast today. They talked to Joss about the "Mutant Enemy Strike" in which fans of Joss' shows will picket outside Fox's Pico Gate this Friday. They also talked to the staff writers of Jericho. (iTunes link.)

Maureen Ryan reports on cable shows like Battlestar Galactica, Dexter, and others that might be aired on the broadcast networks if the strike lasts for a long time...

But, the WGA today reported they "accepted the framework in [the AMPTP] proposal of last Thursday for a fixed residual in the first year." That proposal relates to internet streaming. They continue to haggle over the details. And there's still no word on the download/purchase issue. Perhaps they want to solidify agreement on streams before moving on to that topic. At least it feels like progress is being made.
