April!

Denise Martin of the L.A. Times Show Tracker blog, reports that the Sci-Fi Channel has decided to debut season 4 of Battlestar Galactica in April of 2008.

...Now excuse me because I'm late for my session of scream therapy.

P.S. I guess this explains why Universal isn't planning to release season 3 on DVD until April.

yeah it's frakked.

I think Sci-Fi has figured out that we don't watch their lame network except with BSG is on, so they are trying to string us out. Some BSG in November with Razor. Then wait till April for ten eps. Then a break for god knows how long, while they frak with us some more.

And these guys wonder why people are downloading (legally and illegally) or just wait for the DVDs.

Sci-Fi is as corrupt as they are incompetent.

ATTN SCI-FI CHANNEL EXECs :

You are retarded. The show is building by word-of-mouth and you are not showing it heavy rotation to build awareness, catch people up on the previous 3 seasons - in fact you can't find it at all except for the occasional 3am broadcast.

This show is a legitimate hit, a critical gem, a rare and special series that will stand tall in the pantheon of sci-fi entertainment, and you geniuses over at Sci-Fi Channel don't know what to do with a mound of solid gold. Amazing.

I really hope that SciFi play all 20 episodes next year. Not many shows manage to make a mini-series and four seasons last 6-7 years... without losing a vast majority of viewers :)

I am tempted to pickup the higher resolution, feature-less available now Region 4 Australian DVDs instead. Who would have thought we would get the DVDs 6 months before the USA?
